Light straw color, vanilla and alcohol on the nose, vanilla and almost toffee taste, smooth finish with a little burn. Overall nice rum. Might have to keep a bottle on hand.

By far the smoothest Rama ever drank. It was off the market for a little bit but now seems to be back in full swing. It’s all my wife I drink. No more vodka and tequila. This is infinitely cleaner and according to other websites it has less calories than vodka and tequila. Perfect.

Vanilla on the nose smooth taste but then finishes with a bitter burn. Not overly sweet. Sippable but not for novices, would make a killer mixed drink

Not much other than vanilla and a little coconut on the nose. Palate is smooth and sweet. Underwhelming.

The advertisements say this is the smoothest rum. While I have not tasted all rums, this is certainly one of the smoother ones and a really easy sipper. It is also thick, so coats the tongue and the flavor lingers. The flavors are well balanced, so I do not get a lot of anything. I feel as if this one would mix well as well as be a nice sipping rum straight-up. It is a little sweet, so I would drink it after dinner, rather than before. This one is going on my wish list.

I'm usually not a big fan of gold rums, but this is one of the better gold rums I've tried.

Has a nice sweetness to it, which I really like. Smells and tastes of vanilla, sugar cane, butter, and honey. Nicely smooth. Not a bad gold rum at all!
