End of Days Barrel Aged

A delicious rum that’s a great starting point if you are moving over from bourbon.

Bottle purchased at the Distillery. This is the best of this distillery's 3 current offerings. Pours a dark amber color. This rum is aged for 18 months in a square barrel system with 3 different wood slats inserted for flavor. One of those is a Brazilian wood which gives this a flavor similar to those cachacas that have zebra wood. Plenty of spiciness without being a spiced rum, this is balanced with a rich sweetness and dark fruits, leather, tobacco. Really delicious.
