End of Days Port Entry

An extremely sweet rum, with almost an agave taste and smell to it. I would highly recommend their aged rum instead

Tasted in the Distillery bar on 7/29/23. Pours clear. Has a surprising corn and agricole-like doughy aroma. This is a cane and molasses base rum and not an agricole style. Interesting slight mezcal smokiness. The palate is mild with no edge to the finish as though this was slightly aged. With a few drops of water, a stick candy sweetness jumps out at you. I am surprised at how good this "base" rum used for their aged product is from the start.
