Fine if you want to mix something and want to have the taste of coconut
End of Days Port Entry review posted 7 hours ago by Badhands United States 🇺🇸 | 9 ratings
An extremely sweet rum, with almost an agave taste and smell to it. I would highly recommend their aged rum instead
Bacoo 3-Year review posted 7 hours ago by Badhands United States 🇺🇸 | 9 ratings
This has been my white rum mixer for awhile now, not overly sweet, but I wouldn’t want to sip on it
Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold review posted 7 hours ago by Badhands United States 🇺🇸 | 9 ratings
The quintessential first timers rum, use only as a mixer and will taste just like you remember from college
Ron Zacapa 23 Solera review posted 7 hours ago by Badhands United States 🇺🇸 | 9 ratings
A little too much sweetness for the age, but is still sipable, not bad for someone starting their aged rum journey

I wouldn’t blame you if you mistook this for bourbon, has most of the same flavor palette as a bourbon only slightly sweeter!

Ako uz zlozenie napoveda "voda-lih-karamel sirup" vieme co od toho ocakavat.
Dostal som to do daru slovami "som pocul ze ty mas rad ten rum"...couz.
Skusil som to len tak. Strach a hroza.
Zmiesal som to s tonicom 1:5 a ako "rumova aroma" celkom fajn a to je asi tak vsetko co pre tento...ehm...mozem spravit :D

Correction! For my Oxbow Estate Agricole, the correct name on the bottle is Oxbox Estate 2021 Louisiane. Since my name more accurately describes this Agricole, that is how I have it listed in my spreadsheet....

Brugal Colección Visionaria Edición 01 review posted 15 hours ago by cheboola Slovenia 🇸🇮 | 41 ratings
Was a bit worried, since it's not the cheapest bottle and the reviews are a bit mixed. However, I was pleasantly surprised as this rum is one of the best rums I have tried. I am a big fan of 1888 but I can say this one topped it. Definitely worth the price. Hopefully I can score another bottle. The cocoa flavor is not at all overwhelming, there is only hints, which add to its personality. It quite dry and not at all sweet, so don't buy it if you prefer rums on the sweeter side.

Jimmy, hopefully the rum gods will comply. I'm expecting a bottle of Maestro this weekend from Canada and will again put it through the 7 day test so stay tuned. Arrrgh!...
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary review posted 15 hours ago by Kris (PREMIUM) United States Minor Outlying Islands 🇺🇲 | 8 ratings
A very smooth, sweet, easy-to-enjoy rum. Maybe a bit too sweet for my preference, but definitively one to always keep in stock. If for no other reason than to have something to offer for those that are skeptical to rum. Everybody I've offered it to absolutely loves it. I have converted many a skeptic with this one.

Slightly more heady due to being a bit stronger than usual. Smokey and not too sweet

Paul, Great list there. It's always the ongoing hunt to get really great rum to a cheap price. Most of them are not available in the EU, but some like Doorly's and RumFire and they are really great....

Tasty dark with a vanilla finish. It’s my first Hawaiian rum.
Cheramie Blanc review posted 1 day ago by revsteph (PREMIUM) United States 🇺🇸 | 397 ratings
Tasted Kim's in Minneapolis June 24 2024.
Appearance: Clear
Aroma: Grassy nose
Flavor: Band aid and cardboard box to begin, followed by heat and a mellowing sweetness.
Notes: This rum has a funk to it that I did not expect based on the aroma. This is an intriguing rum; it ends with a sweetness and some peach notes with a mild finish.
This was an unexpected rum to find at a Korean restaurant with a limited rum selection - reinforcing that one should always check the shelves above the bar just in case something unique is waiting.
Cheramie Blanc review posted 1 day ago by Cool Breeze (PREMIUM) United States 🇺🇸 | 607 ratings
Tasted at Kim's Korean restaurant in Minneapolis on 6-24-24. Pours clear. Aroma has a faint agricole-like dough with a distinct sugar cookie scent. Flavor has some pronounced nuttiness- almonds mostly. Initial cardboard oxidation at first, but gives rise to a mid-palate black pepper. Finish whimpers away in a calming fashion. Not bad at all.
Relicario Peated Finish review posted 1 day ago by Sheldonpenney (PREMIUM) Canada 🇨🇦 | 65 ratings
Very tasty for those who love peated spirits. Finish isn't super long but has a great full smoky peat flavour
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Plantation Barbados 5-Year review posted 6 hours ago by Badhands United States 🇺🇸 | 9 ratings
While all the flavors you would expect from a plantation rum are there, you miss out on that depth from the young age of this rum. Great for mixing, but there are better sippers out there
